Chief Scientist
Human Predictions LLC
William S. Denney, PhD is the Chief Scientist and CEO at Human Predictions.
He designs and implements quantitative strategy for clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics. He brings over 10 years of experience in drug development focusing on the quantitative translation of knowledge between phases of development.
After completing his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Bill got his MS and PhD in chemical and biomolecular engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. His PhD focused on experimental and systems modeling of blood coagulation to quantify the rate limiting steps in coagulation. Following his PhD, Bill worked at Merck working in project teams across therapeutic areas in early-stage development (nonclinical to Phase 2). Bill then moved to Pfizer where he worked on cardiovascular-metabolic disease and rare disease to move development programs forward with efficient clinical design.
Bill has published and presented work in nonclinical to clinical translational research, phase 1 biomarker translation, model-based meta-analysis, and novel quantitative methods to improve model-informed decision-making.
